Name, email address, and account credentials.

1.2 Personalized Acoustic Signatures

We collect your self-reported auditory signal preferences and acoustic profile created during your onboarding calibration. This includes your preferred signal ranges and resonance settings.

Legal Basis: We process this data based on your explicit consent provided during the calibration process. This data is stored securely in your private account profile (hosted via Google Firebase) and is used solely to generate your custom audio experience.

1.3 Auditory Progress & Interaction

Data regarding your session duration, soundscape selections, and program interaction to maintain your personalized calibration.

1.4 Usage & Device Data

Standard diagnostic logs, device identifiers, and technical performance data.

1.5 Payment Data

Payments are handled by Apple (App Store), Google (Play Store), or our payment processor. We do not store credit card numbers on our servers.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your data to:

  • Calibrate and deliver your Personalized Acoustic Signature.
  • Maintain and improve the MyPattern signal-processing features.
  • Provide technical support and confirm subscription status.

Prohibition on Data Sale: We do not sell your personal information or shared acoustic signatures with third-party advertisers or data brokers.

3. Sharing Your Information

We share data only with essential service providers (e.g., Google Firebase for database hosting) who are contractually bound to keep your data private. We do not transmit your specific acoustic profile to social media platforms or external marketing trackers.

4. Data Retention & Privacy Rights

Retention: We retain your acoustic settings as part of your active profile. You can delete this data or your entire account at any time via the in-app settings.

Accounting: We retain limited transaction records for 7 years as required by Norwegian financial regulations.

Access & Deletion: You have the right to access, export, or delete your data. Deleting your account immediately purges your acoustic profile from our active database.

5. Your Rights & Controls

Depending on your location, you may have rights to:

  • Access, correct, or delete your personal information
  • Object to or restrict certain processing
  • Request data portability
  • Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent

6. Data Security

We employ reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access is role-based and audited. No method is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute protection.
